India’s Ministry of Home Affairs has listed the Shahzad Bhatti Network (SBN) as a terrorist organisation under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The ministry’s notification said the group’s terrorist actions constitute a serious threat to the country’s democratic system, communal harmony and internal security and public order, leading to its designation as a terrorist entity.
