Centre in SC reduces NEET-SS qualifying percentile to 30%; TN to get 40 vacant seats back

The central government announced that for the upcoming special stray vacancy round of the NEET-SS exam, the qualifying percentile will be lowered from 50% to 30%. The Supreme Court ordered this adjustment after a petition by the Centre. Additionally, 40 in‑service seats that were previously vacant will be reallocated to Tamil Nadu, restoring those positions for the state.
