‘What did you do in the past year?’ NGT asks Tamil Nadu govt. over Vinayaka idol immersion preparedness
India’s National Green Tribunal has asked the Tamil Nadu government to submit an affidavit confirming it will implement the guidelines issued by the Central Board of Climate Change Policy, as well as prior rulings of the Supreme Court, Madras High Court and the tribunal itself, for the upcoming Vinayaka idol immersion festival. The state has requested an extension to meet the deadline.
