Assam begins commemorating Zubeen Garg’s first death anniversary
Assam has started observing the first death anniversary of popular singer Zubeen Garg. The state government is backing a series of cultural and spiritual events to mark the occasion. Local taxi services are providing discounted rides to the memorial site, located roughly 23 kilometres east of Guwahati, to facilitate attendance by fans, friends and relatives.
