Ukraine war briefing: Drone kills Russian commander just decorated after fake victory claim
On day 1,667 of the Ukraine conflict, a Ukrainian drone struck and killed Russian Major General Anton Grunis, who had just received a decoration from President Vladimir Putin for a claimed capture of Kostiantynivka that analysts say was fabricated. The briefing also noted that Britain identified an intelligence officer killed in a recent road accident in Ukraine.
