Rajasthan achieves plantation target ahead of schedule
Rajasthan has reached its plantation goal earlier than planned under the Aravali Green Development Project. The state invested ₹250 crore across 19 districts to improve soil and plant trees. The initiative aims to enhance green cover and soil health, contributing to environmental sustainability and climate resilience in the region. Officials say the project will also create jobs and support local farmers.
