Maradu water treatment plant set to add 20 MLD to Kochi water supply
Kerala’s Maradu water treatment facility will boost its output by 20 million litres per day, raising total capacity from 100 to 120 MLD, to augment Kochi’s municipal water supply. The upgrade includes installing a 1,000‑mm high‑density polyethylene pipeline extending 5.2 km, linking the plant to the city’s distribution network. The project aims to address rising demand and is slated for completion by next year.
