Despite curbs, over 4,000 PoP Ganesha idols immersed in Bengaluru

The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, together with municipal officials and police, conducted a strict enforcement operation, confiscating over 3,000 PoP idols and warning vendors about environmental regulations. The drive covered multiple city wards, and officials emphasized the need for eco‑friendly alternatives.
