Hair caught in generator, 11-year-old girl dies at Ganesh procession in Chittoor
An 11‑year‑old girl, Prasanna Sri, died after her hair became entangled in a generator that was powering a Ganesh procession in Damarapakam village, Nagari taluk, Chittoor district. Police said she was sitting next to the equipment when the incident occurred and she succumbed to injuries while being taken to a hospital in Tirupati later that day.
