Shahzad Bhatti Network declared banned terrorist outfit under UAPA
India's central government has placed the Shahzad Bhatti Network (SBN) on the list of banned terrorist organizations under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Authorities say the group is linked to terrorism and has taken part in multiple terrorist incidents across the country. The designation recently follows an investigation that concluded SBN's involvement in domestic violent activities.
