Centre allocates five lakh houses to Andhra and Telangana under PMAY-G, says Pemmasani
India's central government has earmarked a total of 500,000 homes for the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana‑Gramin scheme. Andhra Pradesh will receive an additional 225,000 units, while Telangana is slated for 121,000. According to Minister Pemmasani, only about 23% of the 2019‑24 allocation for Andhra Pradesh has been delivered so far.
