CMRL pay-off case: official retracts statement to ED
An official involved in the Chennai Metro Rail (CMRL) bribery investigation, P. Suresh Kumar, has sent a written retraction to the Enforcement Directorate’s Delhi directorate. In the document he claims that officers of the ED’s Kochi office acted illegally and in an overbearing manner during the probe. The retraction challenges earlier statements made by the official.
