Jaishankar to visit Bhutan, hold talks with his counterpart from September 16-17
India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will travel to Bhutan on September 16 and 17 for an official visit at the invitation of Bhutan’s Foreign Minister Lyonpo D.N. Dhungyel. The two officials are scheduled to hold bilateral talks covering regional cooperation, trade, and security issues, reinforcing the neighboring countries’ diplomatic engagement. Discussions are also expected to address connectivity projects, climate collaboration and people‑to‑people contacts.
