Launch of expansion of Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Breakfast Scheme deferred to September 22: T.N. govt.
The Tamil Nadu government has postponed the rollout of the expanded Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Breakfast Scheme to September 22. The program will be introduced across all districts except Chengalpattu and Tiruppur, where the Model Code of Conduct remains in effect because of pending by‑elections for the Madurantakam and Dharapuram assembly constituencies. The decision was announced by the state administration on Monday.
