State legislature presiding officers showcase Karnataka’s parliamentary heritage in SA
The speaker and deputy speaker of Karnataka’s state assembly visited South Africa to present the region’s parliamentary history. During meetings with South African legislators, they highlighted Karnataka’s legislative traditions, archival materials and procedural innovations. The delegation aimed to foster bilateral parliamentary cooperation and share best practices in democratic governance and strengthen institutional ties between the two jurisdictions.
