Supreme Court nod for Kerala High Court to continue execution proceedings in Kashi Math case
India’s Supreme Court has upheld a Kerala High Court order permitting the continuation of execution proceedings in the Kashi Math dispute. The court allowed authorities to pursue recovery of gold, silver ornaments and related items claimed to belong to the Kashi Math Samsthan, which were allegedly held by Raghavendra Tirtha. The decision maintains the lower court’s enforcement powers.
