AIUDF fields Badruddin Ajmal from Nagaon Lok Sabha seat
All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) has nominated former MP Badruddin Ajmal as its candidate for the Nagaon Lok Sabha constituency. In response, Congress state president Gaurav Gogoi alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party, facing electoral pressure, became anxious and approached Ajmal for support. The move adds a new dimension to the upcoming contest in Assam.
