India deeply concerned about blockades in Hormuz and Bab-el-Mandeb, says govt.
India expressed deep concern over recent blockades in the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab‑el‑Mandeb passage. The Ministry of External Affairs said that, so far, oil supplies from the Red Sea region remain uninterrupted. The government also noted that Oman is assisting in the search for an Indian seafarer missing after an oil‑tanker attack in the incident.
