High refill, deposit costs keep consumers in Karnataka away from 10 kg LPG option
Rising refill fees and a steep deposit for 10‑kilogram LPG cylinders are discouraging Karnataka residents from choosing the larger option, the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs reported. More than 36,000 applications for new LPG connections remain pending across the state, highlighting the impact of price barriers on household fuel adoption for many families.
