CPI(M) protests Vijaya Dairy milk price hike in Vijayawada
Members of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) staged a demonstration in Vijayawada after Vijaya Dairy raised its milk prices. The party said the hike was decided without a chairman’s input, and it urged the company to revert the increase and to channel subsidised essential goods through the public distribution system, and called for the state to ensure affordable supplies.
