Odisha rejects premature release of Dara Singh serving life for murder of Graham Staines, two sons
Odisha’s State Sentence Review Board has refused to grant an early release, despite petitions from his legal team, to Dara Singh, who is serving a life term for the 1999 murder of missionary Graham Staines and his two sons. The board said releasing him now could spark communal unrest, and therefore upheld the decision to keep him incarcerated.
