HDK alleges Karnataka government knew rape convict Prajwal Revanna had phone in prison, used issue to divert attention from KPSC scam, Bidadi and NICE projects

Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy said the Karnataka government was aware that rape convict Prajwal Revanna possessed a mobile phone while incarcerated. He alleged the matter was being highlighted to shift focus from alleged irregularities in the Karnataka Public Service Commission recruitment, as well as controversies surrounding the Bidadi and National Investment and Construction Enterprises projects. Kumaraswamy promised to disclose further details soon.
