Tamil Nadu byelections: AIADMK names candidates for Madurantakam, Dharapuram constituencies
The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) announced its slate for two Tamil Nadu by‑elections. Former legislator Kanitha Sampath will contest the Madurantakam seat in Chengalpattu district, while party member K. Bhanumathi is slated for the Dharapuram constituency in Tiruppur district. Both candidates aim to retain or win the vacant seats. The selections were made ahead of the upcoming polls scheduled for later this month.
