Tamil Nadu bypolls: AMMK extends support to AIADMK candidates
In the recent Tamil Nadu by‑elections, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AMMK) announced it will back candidates from the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in the Madurantakam and Dharapuram constituencies. AMMK leader T.T.V. Dhinakaran made the statement, signalling a strategic alliance ahead of the voting. The move aims to consolidate anti‑DMK votes in the two seats.
