DMK MP A. Raja, MLAs Sekarbabu and Vasantham Karthikeyan booked for derogatory remarks against Tamil Nadu CM Vijay
Two Tamil Nadu legislators, DMK Member of Parliament A. Raja and state assembly members Sekarbabu and Vasantham Karthikeyan, have been formally charged after police filed complaints alleging they made insulting statements about Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. The cases were lodged at police stations in Saidapet, North Beach and Kallakurichi, according to reports. The filings were made under provisions that penalize defamation of public officials.
