Only 250 institutions in Keralam hold ‘Eat Right Campus’ certification; validity of 204 expires
Kerala has just 250 institutions certified under the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India's Eat Right Campus programme, and the certification of 204 of these institutions is set to lapse. The scheme, launched to promote safe, nutritious and sustainable food on educational campuses, seeks to lower the risk of food‑borne illnesses, nutritional deficiencies and non‑communicable diseases.
