CPI(M) leader Mohamed Riyas rejects hawala allegations against wife and Pinarayi’s daughter T. Veena
Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Mohamed Riyas has rejected claims that his wife and T. Veena, daughter of chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan, were involved in hawala transactions. Riyas said the notes uncovered by the Enforcement Directorate during its probe into the CMRL‑Exalogic payment case pertained to a prospective business project Veena intended to launch, not illicit activity.
