KEA allows SMSIMSR to fill 50% govt. quota medical seats with zero fee
India’s Karnataka Examinations Authority has approved the Sri Muthuswamy Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (SMSIMSR) to occupy half of the government‑reserved medical seats without charging tuition. Eligible candidates who satisfy the institute’s stipulated criteria may apply for these fee‑free seats in the current admission cycle, expanding access to medical education under the government quota.
