Cloudflare AKE cuts origin HelloRetryRequests from 52% to 3.7%
Cloudflare reports that its Adaptive Key Exchange (AKE) mechanism has dramatically lowered the frequency of origin HelloRetryRequests, dropping the rate from roughly 52 percent to about 3.7 percent. The reduction is attributed to protocol optimizations that streamline handshake processes, decreasing unnecessary retries and improving overall connection performance for global services that rely on Cloudflare’s network.
