Army-backed flag centre empowers 140 women in Kashmir’s Kupwara
An army-supported flag centre in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir, operates as part of a network of twelve skill‑development hubs. According to a senior army officer, the centres collectively employ 140 women drawn from different villages in the district, providing them with training and income opportunities.
