Two workers die in fire accident at Virudhunagar district firecracker units
Two employees were killed in separate fire incidents at fireworks factories in Tamil Nadu's Virudhunagar district on September 3, 2026. One blaze broke out at the Karishma Fireworks plant in Koonampatti near Srivilliputtur, while the other occurred at a unit in Meenampatti village close to Sivakasi. Authorities are investigating recently the causes of both fires.
