Houthis Used Claude Code to Develop Missile Guidance Software: Anthropic
The AI firm Anthropic said its Claude language model was used by Yemen’s Houthi forces to produce software that assists in guiding missiles. According to the company, the rebels accessed code generated by the model and adapted it for weaponry. Anthropic highlighted the incident as an example of AI tools being repurposed for military applications.
