Belagavi airport to get four-lane road
Authorities plan to expand the current access road to Belagavi airport into a four‑lane thoroughfare, aiming to improve connectivity. Officials say the project will require little additional land, and the district’s deputy commissioner has pledged to accelerate any necessary acquisition processes. The upgrade is intended to accommodate growing traffic without significant displacement. The plan also includes upgrading signage and lighting along the route.
