India sends first consignment of Bailey bridge components to flood-hit Nepal
India has dispatched its initial shipment of Bailey bridge parts to Nepal, where severe flooding has caused extensive damage. The consignment includes more than 130 tonnes of relief supplies, and the Ministry of External Affairs says 54 Indian experts have been sent to assist Nepal's rescue, relief and forensic efforts. This marks the first such aid package.
