Govt approval must for use of official logo of Indian Patent Office: DPIIT order
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has issued an order stating that any use of the Indian Patent Office’s official logo, emblem or design must receive prior government permission. The directive follows a notice from the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks, which identified instances of unauthorized use and warned of legal action.
