Had West Bengal not been created, we would have suffered fate of Chinmoy Das of Bangladesh, says Suvendu Adhikari
West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari said the state's existence spared Bengali Hindus from a fate like that of Bangladesh's Chinmoy Das. He blamed the former Left Front and Trinamool administrations for eroding Bengali Hindu cultural and religious practices, and pledged his government will restore and protect those traditions. He vowed to revive festivals and support temples, stating cultural preservation is a priority of administration.
