Nine children who fell ill after chloroquine drive in Andhra’s Polavaram test positive for malaria
Nine children from Gollaguppa village in Andhra Pradesh's Polavaram district have tested positive for malaria after falling ill during a chloroquine distribution drive. They are part of 52 villagers who reported sickness after receiving the medication. So far, 32 patients have been released from Bhadrachalam Area Hospital, while officials investigate the circumstances surrounding a girl's death.
