Booth Level Agents liable only for verifiable information in SIR: Delhi High Court
Delhi High Court ruled that Booth Level Agents (BLAs) can be held responsible only for information in the Statement of Information Report (SIR) that is verifiable. The judgment came after a petition filed by DPCC president Devender Yadav and the DPCC booth management committee chairman, seeking clarification on BLAs’ liability for alleged false statements under the election code.
