Brazil’s foreign minister said Brazil and India are strengthening strategic cooperation as global dynamics shift. He noted that while BRICS discussions include alternatives to the U.S. dollar, using local currencies for portions of bilateral trade is already practiced by many nations. He added that governments typically do not prescribe which currency firms must employ in their transactions.
