National Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) in Hyderabad, partnering with the NGO Healing Little Hearts, conducted 19 intricate paediatric heart operations during its fifth cardiac surgery camp. The procedures, which can cost as much as ₹20 lakh at private facilities, were provided at no charge to the children and their families, aiming to improve access to life‑saving care.
