Gurugram’s civic infrastructure must match scale of city, says human rights panel
A human rights commission warned that Gurugram’s civic facilities must keep pace with the city’s rapid growth. It said frequent flooding that blocks roads, hampers schools, disrupts emergency response, cuts water supply and restricts everyday travel should not be accepted as normal urban conditions. The panel urged authorities to upgrade infrastructure to handle heavy rainfall.
