Devotees urge Vijay to take steps to retrieve properties of Nungambakkam temple
Devotees of the Arulmigu Akilandeswari Sametha Agatheeswarar temple in Nungambakkam are demanding that the government take action to recover more than 415 acres of land that they say was illegally transferred by former trustees and some officials from the HR & CE Department. They claim the alienation was unlawful and seek restitution. The petitioners also request a investigation and the return of the properties to the temple.
