‘Trishul’ strategy to help check drug menace, crimes and road accidents in A.P.
Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy unveiled the ‘Trishul’ plan aimed at curbing drug trafficking, related crimes and road fatalities in Andhra Pradesh. The strategy calls for stricter enforcement against cannabis and other narcotics, a calendar of public‑awareness events, and the establishment of de‑addiction centres of excellence in Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Amaravati. It also proposes intensified policing and monitoring to reduce drug‑related incidents.
