How Noida workers’ protest landed a DU student in jail under NSA
During a Noida workers’ demonstration that escalated into violence in April, Delhi University student Akriti Chaudhary was arrested and placed under the National Security Act. Although a court later set aside the NSA detention, she remained detained on separate criminal charges linked to the unrest. She was eventually released after obtaining bail by the authorities in the city.
