Delhi Police detain five for raising anti-Xi slogans near Bharat Mandapam
Delhi police arrested five individuals after a demonstration near the Bharat Mandapam where participants displayed Tibetan flags and chanted slogans condemning Chinese leader Xi Jinping and alleging genocide and ecocide in Tibet. The protest, held at Majnu Ka Tila in north Delhi, attracted several hundred Tibetans from various parts of India. Authorities said the slogans violated laws against hate speech.
