ED raids on Jarkiholi: Agency claims to have recovered documents on bribery in PWD, investments in Africa
India’s Enforcement Directorate conducted two days of raids at 21 sites linked to politician Jarkiholi, saying it uncovered documents suggesting bribery involving the public works department and overseas investments in Africa. The agency reported seizing roughly ₹3.3 crore in unaccounted Indian cash and about ₹15 lakh in foreign currency during the searches. The seizures were part of a broader probe into alleged financial irregularities.
