Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee’s office ransacked in Kolkata
Early on a Tuesday morning in Kolkata, the office of Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee was broken into. Around 4:30 a.m., several masked individuals entered, removed televisions and other equipment, and carried them out. Banerjee accused members of the rival BJP of orchestrating the vandalism, though investigations are ongoing. Police arrived later to gather evidence, and the party said it would lodge a formal complaint.
