Trinamool Congress alleges EC has not replied to RTI plea on NCPI for 84 days
Trinamool Congress has accused the Election Commission of failing to respond to a right‑to‑information request concerning the National Commission for the Protection of Indian Political Parties (NCPI) for 84 days. Former Rajya Sabha MP Saket Gokhale said the sought data includes the party’s registration details, finances, office‑bearers and donation records. He questions the lack of information needed to scrutinise unrecognised parties.
