Shopify moves back to Native from React Native
Shopify announced it will transition its mobile applications from the cross‑platform framework React Native to native iOS and Android development. The company cited performance, stability and the ability to leverage platform‑specific features as reasons for the shift. Engineers will gradually rewrite existing codebases, aiming to improve user experience while maintaining feature parity across devices on both platforms.
