
Pinarayi Vijayan strikes a defiant tone as UDF government in Keralam weighs ED’s demand to implicate him, kin in CMRL case
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan responded defiantly to the Enforcement Directorate’s request that the state’s UDF government consider charges against him and his family in a Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) investigation. Vijayan asserted that his daughter’s dealings with CMRL were conducted through legitimate banking channels, complied with tax rules, and that the ED’s probe found no incriminating evidence.
